The inoculation of growth-promoting bacteria in irrigated rice cultivation is a strategy that aims to reconcile the achievement of high production rates with the use of reduced doses of mineral fertilizers. These microorganisms are able to colonize the root surface, rhizosphere, phyllosphere and internal tissues of plants, contributing to their development.
In addition to the isolated inoculation of rhizobia and Azospirillum as plant growth promoters, the association of both can result in increases in the benefits they provide to commercial crops. This combination can be an alternative to increase rice grain development and productivity.
