Green banana flour has a huge variety of benefits as a source of fiber, vitamins C and B complex, minerals such as magnesium and potassium. Suitable for people who have digestive problems, to combat the famous PMS (premenstrual tension) and avoid episodes of cramps. Still green, the banana has an additional benefit – it is rich in resistant starch.

For a long time, the green banana underwent numerous tests in the chemistry and biochemistry laboratory of the Department of Food and Experimental Nutrition of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (USP), so that researchers could find a way to develop a product to take advantage of the benefits of resistant starch and also that was practical to use. The result was dehydrated green banana flour.
