Chia flour has a neutral flavor that makes it suitable for a wide range of baked goods and as a thickener for soups and sauces. When used in baking, it helps breads, muffins and cookies retain moisture. Chia flour is an excellent binder.
Rich in omega-3 fatty acids and have been shown to be helpful in lowering blood pressure and controlling blood sugar levels. Chia flour can be used as a 1:1 substitute for wheat flour or mixed with other gluten-free (or glutinous) flours.
