Hammer Mill Vieira MCD 950 (100 hp)

The Double Centrifugal Mill – MCD 950 (100 hp) This is the largest mill manufactured by Moinhos Vieira. This equipment enables high production of micronized flours. As it is a double mill coupled to aspirated rotors, even in fine granulometries, this mill provides uniform grinding without an increase in temperature in the final processed product. Due to the pre-grinding that takes place in the first grinding box (Lower Side), the pre-grinded product is then transferred through a pipe which automatically supplies the second grinding box (Upper Side), and then the grinding is completed, thus achieving the required granulometric standard. Double grinding increases production capacity compared to motorization, providing better energy efficiency of the mill. Successfully applied to various products such as maize meal (2000 kg/hour), rice flour (2000 kg/hour) and micronized pre-mix formulations on a 0.3 mm screens (1000 kg/hour).

The Vieira MCD 950 Mill (100 hp) is already a medium to large industrial mill. It is very well suited to companies that need good productivity in micronized grinding, as the double centrifugal grinding system enables a better ratio of electric motor performance to final production.

Made from 304 stainless steel or 1020 carbon steel with white epoxy paint.
