Sunflower seeds are removed from the largest part of the sunflower, i.e. its round center. This same round center undergoes transformations throughout the day to follow the direction of the sun.
The sunflower seed was taken by the Spanish back to Spain, and was soon placed in the nearest European countries.
These seeds are an important source of vitamins, especially vitamin E. They also contain minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, calcium and magnesium, which are the most important for maintaining good health. Its fats are healthy, they are unsaturated fatty acids, that is, fats that ensure the correct functioning of the cardiovascular system, the nervous system and health in general.
