For centuries, cardamom powder has demonstrated aphrodisiac properties with the ability to cure impotence. In clinics using Indian medicine practices, five cardamom grains chewed three times a day are prescribed as a way to kill the harmful H. pylori bacteria that causes intestinal infections and chronic pain.

In both early and modern medicine, cardamom is believed to have mood elevating properties, so it is used as an antidepressant and as aromatherapy. Studies show that the many layers of phytonutrients in cardamom even offer protection against cancer and better blood circulation, thus protecting the heart.
